Echeverria Design Group worked on this project to support the Bloomingdales design team in the design and implementation for a new Norwalk Connecticut store.
The three-level 150,000 sq.ft. full-line store is Bloomingdales first new concept store since 2015 that provided an opportunity to develop new design strategies, design and shopping experience.
The new store embodies the Bloomingdales DNA of upscale and contemporary brand mixtures that were reinforced with new shopping experiences and services to support the new Norwalk customers.
New concepts were design and developed for the main floor for the beauty department of Cosmetic and Fragrances where key interior architecture frames and glass boxes support each centralized merchandise zones for fragrances and fine jewelry.
The second level of the store dedicated to women’s wear also incorporated a main women’s shoe department that had a centralized shoe salon and supporting brand boutiques. Key service for personal shopping and style advises were design to support the fashion brands.
The third level of the new store incorporated an extensive home store to support new concepts that were first design and developed for the flagship 59th street store. New furniture, decor, bath, bedding and personalized bridal registry were implemented to support new ways of services and shopping.
