EDG designed a new Sugar factory restaurant and retail candy shop concept for the Mall of America. The relaxed dining experience was inspired by the french brasserie Cafes of Paris.
The use of light white paneling to anchor architecturally the space was complemented with white carrera marble counters and tables. Brass metal fixtures and deep red upholstery combine to make a nod to the Brassiere. The space is divided between the restaurant and retail candy area by the bar. Large crystal chandeliers flank the rounded dining banquettes to soften and give playfulness to the space.
